Protection Game

The Protection Game was developed as an experiential platform for Veeam, with the goal of translating a highly technical and critical topic, corporate data protection, into a clear, accessible, and engaging narrative.

 

The challenge was to communicate complex solutions in a relevant way, without relying on traditional formats or overly technical discourse. The approach began with the creation of a broader project, designed as a campaign structured around a central experience.

 

Within this project, the Protection Game was created as the narrative backbone of the campaign. The game was not treated as a standalone feature, but as a conceptual engine capable of organizing content, driving engagement, and guiding the audience through different scenarios of decision-making, risk, and strategy related to data protection.

 

The game logic transformed technical concepts into action. Instead of simply hearing about security, backup, or threat prevention, participants were invited to make decisions, understand consequences, and reflect on strategies, making learning more concrete and memorable.

 

My involvement in the project included the conception of the experience, the design of the format, the structuring of the narrative, and oversight of the production process, ensuring that the game, content, and campaign materials were aligned around a single, cohesive concept.

 

The result was a campaign that elevated Veeam’s communication, transforming technology into experience and positioning the brand as a reference in clarity, control, and strategic thinking around data protection.
