ProtectionGame
A highly technical topic, translated into decision, risk and strategy.
The context
Corporate data protection is a critical topic, but a hard one to communicate. Veeam needed to present complex solutions in a relevant way, without falling back on traditional formats or overly technical language.
The starting point was a simple question: how do you make people understand the value of data protection without them needing to be experts?
The idea
The answer was a campaign structured around a central experience. The Protection Game was born as the campaign’s narrative backbone: not a standalone feature, but the engine that organized the content and guided the audience.
The game’s logic turned technical concepts into action. Instead of hearing about security, backup or threat prevention, participants made decisions, faced risk scenarios and saw the consequences of their choices.
The idea took shape in physical and digital pieces, such as the game’s card deck, always carrying the same message: in this game, you’re the one holding the cards.

How the project was built

Beyond the delivery
Technology turned into experience
A technical topic took the form of a game, and the audience came to understand the value of data protection through practice.
Learning by deciding
By making decisions and seeing consequences, participants retained the content in a way no presentation could.
A brand associated with clarity
Veeam’s communication became a reference in clarity, control and strategic thinking around data protection.
